Hello to Everyone,
I decided to start this blog to try and get ideas and help on losing some weight. And along the way we may be able to help some other people to shed a few pounds as well.
Until fairly recently I didn’t have a big problem with my weight. But a few months ago that all changed. At the age of 51, I suffered a heart attack, and my life as a whole changed. But one of the biggest changes, due to a period of inactivity, was the fact that I gained a few more pounds than I would have liked. I wasn’t the fittest guy in the world, but I was pretty active and that had suddenly stopped.
Now I am looking to lose those pounds and get back to my ideal weight. It will have to be done through a combination of diet and a fitness programme, so I thought by starting this blog I could try and help others, but also I was hoping plenty of people could chip in with their own tips.
I only want to concentrate on the health and fitness side at the moment. The problems with my heart are getting better each day, and that particular subject can be covered separately. First and foremost I would like to lose some weight.
So lets hope we can help each other in our quest. I look forward to reading your input.
