Do You Want a Firm Butt & Lean Legs?

Want to know the best exercises to firm up your butt? Want the best
interval training programs to burn fat from your legs?
Good, because I’ve got them here for you today! All thanks to Women’s
Health magazine contributor, Craig Ballantyne (he’s also designed
workouts for Shape, Prevention, and Muscle n Fitness Hers).
Back in 2004 Craig created a program called “Booty for Life” for a
personal client. And while that program was awesome, he spent an
entire week last month improving the workouts AND adding a brand
new 4-week fat burning, butt-firming phase to the program…
…and he renamed it, “Booty for Wife (& all the single ladies!)”.
Why did he rename and redo the program?
Well, the original name was a bit of a joke, and it was a little too
close to “Body for Life”, and Craig didn’t want anyone (i.e. Bill
Phillips) to get upset when his Booty program got really popular.
So he made a simple little name change…now he just has to hope
that Beyonce doesn’t sue him!
But seriously, and more importantly, Craig updated the original
program and added 3 new workouts & some booty-building exercises to
the plan, including:
- Lateral lunges
- 1-leg bodyweight deadlifts
- dumbbell lunges
- kettlebell swings
- dumbbell deep step-ups
- 1-leg bodyweight bench squats
Those go with all of the other booty exercises in the program,
including split squats, 1-leg hip extensions, regular step-ups, and
reverse lunges.
And Craig subbed in more bodyweight exercises so you don’t need to
use dumbbells as much for the rest of the workouts. Some of the new
exercises you’ll get are:
- Stability Ball Cross-Body Mountain Climber (great for abs/obliques)
- Close-Grip 3/4 Rep Pushups (awesome for sculpting your triceps)
- Stability Ball Pike (for hard-core abs)
Plus, you’ll get SIX different fat burning interval training
programs, and interval training has been shown to reduce thigh fat
in research studies.
Whew. There’s a lot in there for you, and to celebrate the re-release
of Booty for Wife, I’ve asked Craig to put together an amazing
special offer just for you.
You’ll get all of these for free…
1) The TT Booty for Wife (& all the single ladies) 12-Week Program
2) The TT Female Bodysculpting 4-Week Workout
3) 30-Days in the TT Member’s Website & Forum
4) The TT for Hot Chicks 4-Week Workout
5) The NEW “TT Bodyweight Cardio 3″ Workout
…when you get your half-price copy of the Turbulence Training for
Fat Loss Program for only $19.95.
(That’s $10 less than if you were to buy Booty for Wife on its own!)
So you could get Booty for Wife for $29.95 or you could get Booty
for Wife plus Turbulence Training plus all of those other bonuses
all for only $19.95.
I think that’s an easy choice, don’t you?

Plenty of time to sculpt that booty before you hit the beach on your
next holiday.
By the way, just listen to this incredible feedback on the program:
“I just finished section 2 of the Booty for Wife series. I feel
strong and super fit and I’ve gotten so many compliments lately
that I know it has to be the program! I start the 3rd section
tomorrow and it looks tough and I can’t wait. I know that in 4
weeks I’m going to be amazed at myself. And, I am so looking
forward to doing the chin ups. I hoping I can do at least one to
start and by 4 weeks I want to be doing 5 or more. This is a really
great 3 month program and if you haven’t tried it you really
should.”

Choosing A Good Treadmill
July 21, 2010 by admin
Filed under Articles, Exercise & Fitness
There are many reasons why some people are not able to get into the open air to do some walking. If this applies to you, but you would still like to walk for exercise, a treadmill for the home could be the answer.
Choosing a good treadmill isn’t always easy. There are many different types, features, and price ranges that must be considered. It’s important to decide what you need and don’t settle for less because if you do you may not use it.
Treadmills are usually an expensive purchase and you need to make sure that you are getting a piece of equipment that will last. They can range from hundreds of dollars to several thousand dollars, depending on the features.
It’s important that you try any piece of exercise equipment out before purchasing it so that you can make sure that it works the way you need it to. Treadmill injuries can happen in an instant so it’s essential that you purchase one that is sturdy, has hand rails that are easy to grip and in the right place for you, and a belt that is made for your stride.
Once you have chosen the type and size of treadmill you want you will next need to consider the available features. Some of the most common features include:
Pre-Set Programs:
A pe-set program will take you on a specific course that will, typically, change the speed and inclination while you are working out. Many people like to use pre-set programs in order to change their workouts and so they don’t have to worry about speeding up the machine or changing the incline themselves.
Pulse Monitors:
Pulse monitors are a good way for you to make sure that you are working within your target heart rate. Pulse monitors can also show how your body is responding to your workout so that you don’t overdo it.
Built-In Fans:
Many people like to have a built-in fan to keep them cool while walking or running. There can sometimes be quite a difference in price for treadmills that feature built-in fans.
Book Holder:
Book or magazine holders allow people to read while they exercise which can help to alleviate boredom while working out. Although it is not something I would recommend doing on a treadmill, as it can cause you to misstep which is dangerous, especially at high speeds.
Water Bottle Holders:
These are a nice feature so that you can stay hydrated without having to stop exercising. This is a fairly standard feature on most treadmills.
It’s important to take your time while testing and shopping for a treadmill because it’s a larger purchase and you want to make sure that you are choosing one that will last you for quite some time.

While the Wii Fit Plus offers several different exercises to get and keep yourself fit, eventually most people like to try something new. So this is just to let you know that there are several different games available to buy that also use the Nintendo balance board. Let’s have a look at three different games that come into this category – Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout, EA Sports Active and Fitness Ultimatum by Jillian Michaels.
Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout
This game is an exercise workout built all around boxing. You’ll find different boxing sessions available. There’s shape boxing, boxing examination and exercise mode. In shape boxing, you’ll be doing some rhythm boxing. There are six lessons available in this section and there are varying degrees of difficulty. In the next level, examination boxing, it’s a series of boxing tests. And in exercise mode you’ll find games that are different from the other boxing lessons but still require punching, dodging and rhythm to get through them. If you are looking for a boxing themed workout, this is the game for you. You can find this on Amazon.com for around $15.00.
EA Sports Active
This game takes a holistic approach to fitness. A strong selling point for this program is the fact that it combines the many different activities with lifestyle and nutrition factors. And the best thing is you don’t ever have to leave the comfort of your home. You’ll find routines that are customised to certain elements as well as a 30 day challenge, and you can even slip the nunchuk into a leg band and use it in conjunction with the Wii remote to track movement of both your lower and upper body. You’ll pay about $60.00 for this Wii workout game on Amazon.com
Jillian Michael’s Fitness Ultimatum 2010
This game provides you with exercises that will give you that boot camp feeling. You’ll run around the boot camp to get from one exercise to the next. You could find yourself paddling a canoe down a river, or throwing paint filled grenades. There are several different elements. You also get to pick your workout, based on your own goals. You can choose from hill climb modes, weight loss, intervals or strength training. All exercises for a really good workout. This is currently selling on Amazon.com for around the $20.00 mark.
These are just three of the many games out there that are compatible with the Nintendo Wii and the balance board. A good place to start looking for these games is on Amazon.com, as not only do they have a tremendous selection but they are usually very competitive on price. Have a look today.
Review Of The Nintendo Wii Fit Plus

The Wii Fit Plus was released to the market in 2009 as the updated version of the original Wii Fit, which itself appeared on the scene in 2008. After hearing and reading all the pre-launch hype, it was pretty hard not to run out and buy one as soon as it hit the shelves. What stopped me from doing this was the fact that I wasn’t sure if an exercise game for a gaming console was worth $100. (And that’s assuming you already own a Wii console, if not you are going to have to fork out more.)
Eventually though, I did give in and paid the cash to get it. And I have to say it was one of the best decisions I have made. The Wii Fit Plus actually makes you WANT to exercise, because it doesn’t feel like exercise at all. It is really FUN to do and I find that I don’t get bored because of the variety of activities that are available.
Here are some of the activities that I like in the aerobics section:
- Free Step
- Hula Hoop
- Basic Run
- Rhythm Boxing

These are only four of the exercises that you will find in the aerobic category, and there are another three categories for you to choose from – strength training, yoga and balance. I find that I mostly do the exercises in the aerobics section because I feel they give me a better workout and I can burn more fat.
Here is a short video of the Wii Fit Plus in action:

The fact that exercising is fun makes a big difference. And the Wii Fit Plus also has the ability to weigh me and track my information. It allows me to set targets of how much weight I want to lose in a specific time scale, and to customise my own workouts and save them for future use. I can even track my steps for the day and set targets as to the amount of calories I would like to burn.
But like most things, it is not perfect. For example, when I am doing the step aerobics exercise and want to increase the intensity, I can find that I am stepping a lot faster than the game allows. There is an option to speed it up but it never seems to be fast enough. Another quirk is when I am doing the free step and using the balance board, sometimes the board will not register the movement. It can take a few minutes to register and count my steps. None of these things are hugely serious, but they can be annoying.
So if you were seriously thinking of buying the Wii Fit Plus, but were not quite sure yet, then my review would give it top marks and I would happily recommend it to you. If you have just started out on an exercise program and would like something that is easy, convenient and FUN, then the Wii Fit Plus is for you.

These bikes are so popular for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding an ordinary bicycle, but without having to bother about what the weather is doing, because you do not leave the comfort and safety of your own home. They take up little space in the home, and can offer a serious workout for the beginner right up to the experienced competitor. And for so many people, having an exercise cycle in the home can be a big factor in sticking with a long term exercise routine.
And for peace of mind, the manufacturer provides an excellent warranty. 5 years on the frame, 1 year on parts and electronics and 3 months on wear parts and labor.
All in all, if you are considering buying an exercise bike, the Schwinn 220 is a serious piece of equipment and certainly one you should be looking at.
